We are tea lovers.

We have always loved tea, but green tea has always been our favorite.

Over the years, we explored countless varieties from different regions, but one stood above the rest: Bì Luó Chūn (碧螺春). Its smooth character, delicate aroma, and refreshing taste made it unlike any green tea we had experienced before.

That discovery inspired us to create FEI Tea. Our mission is simple: to share exceptional Chinese tea with others and bring a traditional tea experience from China to homes around the world.

Bì Luó Chūn 碧螺春 is one of China's most celebrated green teas, cultivated in the misty gardens of eastern China and brewed for over a thousand years. It remains cherished today for its delicate floral aroma, smooth character, and deep connection to Chinese tea culture. 

Enjoyed by locals for centuries, our Bì Luó Chūn 碧螺春 green tea comes  from Guangxi, China, a region known for its ideal growing conditions and rich tea culture.

For generations, families gathered around the table to enjoy this very same green tea, and now we bring the flavors of Guangxi, China directly to your home.

History

Bì Luó Chūn (碧螺春), often translated as "Green Snail Spring," is one of China's most famous historic green teas and has been enjoyed since Tang Dynasty (618–907 AD), but it became especially renowned during the Qing Dynasty (1644–1912).

According to Chinese tea history, "Bì Luó Chūn" was named by the Kangxi Emperor after tasting it, and admiring its tightly curled leaves, which resemble tiny green snail shells.

Originally cultivated around the Dongting Mountain region near Taihu Lake in Jiangsu, Bì Luó Chūn has been cherished for centuries for its delicate sweetness, floral aroma, and smooth, refreshing character. Traditionally, the tea plants are grown among fruit trees, a practice many believe contributes to their distinctive fragrance.

While its origins stem from Jiangsu, this traditional style of tea is now crafted in several regions across China, including Guangxi, where experienced tea makers continue the time-honored techniques that define its smooth, delicate character.
